Charming Youngsters Announce Kickstarter for Second LP

Youngsters

Bits of the past two years went into The Container of All Our Hopes for the Future, which is the soon-to-be-released first LP from the Greenville/Triangle Area act, The Charming Youngsters. The band is dealing with the realities of day jobs, moves, and all that life throws at an independent band who is committed to staying together and seeing a dream come to fruition. They started five years ago at a “dark corner of the Spazzatorium” in Greenville, and continue today after relocating to the Raleigh/Durham area.

The Youngsters don’t want to wait two years for the second album, so they are asking for our collective help in funding their second long-playing release. All those who support the effort with a $10 pledge will get a copy of their first LP, and like many other Kickstarter efforts, the goodies get better with bigger contributions. They are shooting for $3500 to cover recording expenses, but would love to exceed that amount and support a vinyl release of the second album.

Here’s the rub, and important part, The Charming Youngsters need to raise their money by Wednesday, April 9 or they don’t get anything. Yep… So open up your wallet and give what you can to support one of the most entertaining acts Greenville has ever produced. Go here, NOW!

AND… if you’ve never heard of ’em, check out some tunes; all of which can be downloaded for free on Bandcamp:
