Rebekah Todd and The Odyssey play an album release show for Roots Bury Deep on Saturday, February 22. Rebekah and the band have played several dates in anticipation of the release, and are poised to put on a great show at Greenville’s Peasant’s Pub. The Raleigh act, Dark Water Rising, will open the night to what should be a packed house. The all ages show starts at 10 PM and cover is $6 at the door.

Ah, but the weekend kicks off with two acts that have pleased Greenville audiences in the past. The Ithaca, NY-based band, Jimkata, return to Peasant’s on Friday night. The electro-rock outfit are supporting the live album, 10 More Songs!. Fans of M83, MGMT, and LCD Soundsystem will enjoy their incredible live set. Doors open at 10 PM tonight and tickets are $7.

Coming to RA Fountain General Store tonight are The Malpass Brothers. Out of Goldsboro, NC, brothers Taylor and Chris have lit it up as Merle Haggard’s opening act on several tours in recent years. They are looking forward to a return back to Fountain, where they are guaranteed to satisfy the usual sell out crowd. This is a great show, and the folks at RA Fountain highly recommend you get a reserved seat while you still can. The show starts at 7:30 and tickets are $10 general admission, $12.50 for reserved seating.
