Trails and Ways – “Como Te Vas
from Trilingual
out 11 June 2013 on Non-Market Records
The Oakland-based band returns with dreamy, groove-laden Spanish pop. It’s infectious rhythms are driven by handclaps and word repetition. They are on a tour of the US, all the dates can be found on their tour poster and specific tickets info is up on their website. If you like “Como Te Vas”, get a free download of the track here.

ChuCha Santamaria y Usted  – “Fantasía
While we’re on the Spanish language tip, you need to hear “Fantasia” from this outfit based in Puerto Rico. It’s part Tom Tom Club (“Genius of Love”), part Mariah Carey (“Fantasy”). Absolutely addictive, tropical feel that will make hit play again and again.

Lesbian Horse (aka Caleb Selah) – “Agnostic Meadows
single [free download]
How about a little music from Pakistani film samples to round out our non-English considerations? Another groovy track from Mr. Selah.

Videos, videos, videos…
