Minneapolis indie rockers, The Farewell Circuit are set to drop their new EP next month.  They are celebrating in style with a a big release party.  It will be held on June 7th at Icehouse MPLS. Dear Data will open the release party and the show will be featured on 89.3 The Current Presents. If you are in Minneapolis that day, grab seven bucks and see one of our favorite bands.  Pre-order the EP here.  Get a peep at the new video for the first release, “We Were Wolves” below.  The song and video are well paired and will grab you by the lapels and shake you until you love it or maybe you’ll just love it.

Case Conrad to release LEIKKO

Case Conrad

Another one of our favorite bands, Case Conrad, is set to drop their second album, Leikko in September.  They’ve spent the last two years jetting between Barcelona, London, and Malmö while recording the new LP. They sent along a live video for the upcoming single, “Copper Thief”, below. If the rest of the album is like this track, we don’t anticipate a sophomore slump for Case Conrad. It’s a home run, and we’ll have fun breaking other releases as they are available.

Wooden Maria – “Blue Gills Brewery Song”
From the Bonfires and Bells album, the “Blue Gills Brewery Song” sounds like something from the land of 10,000 lakes and not London. Oliver Muto recorded this beaut in his bedroom. You can expect to hear more from Mr. Muto on this blog.
