Monday evening with Francois Peglau

The Imminent Failure of Francois Peglau was one of my top 20 albums of 2010. It’s full of wonderful lo-fi, jangle pop that’s sometimes tongue in cheek and always enjoyable. Peglau is a Peruvian expatriate living in the UK, who draws inspiration from sixties pop music and psychedelia, while simultaneously infusing his modern sensibilities and humor all over it.

If you follow Peglau’s tweets or pay attention to anything he does on the interwebs, you know this guy has fun.  He sent along his latest video and it, too, is a lot of fun. As an aside, the cleaning lady in the video physically resembles my wife, but my wife might tell you she strongly identifies with the cleaning lady.  I guess that’s what happens when you have three sons. Ah, but we love ’em.
