A Sky Jet Black is an Austin-based outfit that makes groove-laden gothic synth pop. They’re influenced by Berlin-era Bowie/Eno, but will appeal to fans of New Order, The Cure, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. We’re featuring two tracks: a noirish cover of “I Wanna Be Adored” by the Stone Roses and “Be My,” which come from their third album, Japanese Moon.
