On Sunday, we featured The PeteBox’s cover of the classic Pixies’ tune, “Where Is My Mind.” Since that time, we’ve discovered a whole boatload of covers. Apparently, it’s not only Nirvana who was trying to sound like the famed Boston Alt. Rock band.
In the spirit of inspiration, we cherry picked a few covers on SoundCloud, and also took a stab at our own cover (you figure out which one). In case you’re wondering, “Where Is My Mind” is the most covered Pixies’ tune. Enjoy!

Cheers…

Always cool to hear Pixies covers. I had attended this Halloween show last year and all the bands dressed up and covered different iconic bands. The Lovely Bad Things were dressed up like Mouseketeers and covered the Pixies. Crazy ass show- that turned into this huge sing-a-long. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILbaIN3D4IM
