This free feature comes from Dream Sick, a four piece out of Tucson. They draw immediate comparisons to early Modest Mouse recordings. Their compositions are adventurous, and not easy to describe. At times atmospheric, other times they’re extremely lo-fi, and then there’s this dash of hazy psychedelia tossed into the mix. The production quality of the recording is not the greatest, but it’s hard to ignore what’s there.
Dream Sick opens for EMA tomorrow night at Plush in Tucson. Not a bad gig for these four hombres. If you’re in the area, go see ‘em. Break a leg, boys.
