The Dead Ships release Electric Ahab

The debut album from LA garage rock band The Dead Ships is raucous and raw, recorded live in 2 takes to 2” tape.  Singer Devlin McCluskey’s boisterous, guttural delivery and strident guitar lines are complemented by drummer Christopher Spindelilus’s rock steady beats.  The rough-and-tumble, pounding electric blues found in ‘Before You Go’ and ‘Bones Cracked’ (each featured below) also exhibit elating pop hooks that will bounce around in your head all day.  Look for them at SXSW.
