Holland Creek is a side project for Montreal-based songwriter, Erik Virtanen. Erik is also part of the Vancouver-based outfit, Darling DeMaes.  During his down time from DeMaes, Virtanen started recording with other “band” friends, and Holland Creek was born. The result of that collaboration became House, a collection of tracks that are delivered poignantly by Virtanen’s delicate falsetto. The album’s 10 tracks are powered by folk and modern rock arrangements that straddle the line between London nu-folk and the melodic leanings of Radiohead.
