Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of j. irvin dally (Jordan Irvin Dally). The well traveled, neo-folkie first caught my attention on Rollo & Grady, and was recently featured on the Big Ugly Yellow Couch after which I realized this was an artist with some depth. He’s not afraid to take full advantage of materials at his disposal in the studio, but demonstrates that he can leave you astounded with nothing but his voice and a guitar. Artists like this make this blog, my avocation, an intrinsic endeavor.
