Abbe May hails from the western wilds of Perth, Australia. Her recent recording, Mammalian Locomotion, is siren-like in its appeal—entrancing,visceral, and difficult to ignore. It features big muddy blues guitar coupled with ethereal vocals that float above everything, but command your attention.  Abbe is scheduled to put out her third full-length album later this year.  She’s received a lot of attention in Western Australia, winning best female vocalist at that state’s music awards for an unprecedented four consecutive years.  She’s been in and out of the US, and if this single is any indication, she’s ready to take on music lovers from across the globe.
