The Heligoats are releasing a split 10” record with Sam Humans on 1.11.11. Live Free/Let Loose features 10 songs with Humans and The Heligoats each taking a side. This marks the first new recording from the Heligoats since the release of the excellent LP, Goodness Gracious, in January 2010. You can pre-order your copy of Live Free/Let Loose here.

Introducing James Delay
James Delay is out of London, who is signed to Record Club Records (also out of London). While it is an instrumental, fans of Radiohead will appreciate the track Howl. The video (below) does a nice job of capturing the mood set by Delay. Howl is available for purchase through Itunes.

Introducing the French Films
French Films are an indie pop band from Finland. Their EP, Golden Sea, is brilliant and reminiscent of the C86 era of the British music scene. You can purchase the entire EP for under $3 on Itunes. That’s not a bad take.
