When I was a lot younger, MTV actually had shows about music. I stumbled upon this 12o Minutes feature on the great Alex Chilton:

I guess Chilton’s passing is still troubling me, and leaving me wishing that his influence was a little more widely acknowledged.
BTW–Eschewing Paris Hilton is a nice way to complete a rhyme, and as everyone knows, eschewing is the equivalent of “I could give a bleep about…”
