There are some good people working hard to establish a music scene in Greenville, and for selfish reasons, I want them to succeed. We are college town that needs to have a good indie/college music scene. We will never be Athens, but we can aspire to be! We have two venues that host a lot of the good gigs in town: The Tipsy Teapot (aka Tipsy) and the Spazz Haus. We also have a great bluegrass venue 10 miles away called the Fountain General Store.
So, here is a list of acts coming to Greenville, NC–starting tonight! Links for bands are MySpace or band web pages.

Oh man it’s great to see someone helping to hype the shows. I work very hard to keep the Greenville music scene alive. I’d be more than happy to answer any questions or give an interview for your blog. I can also set up interviews with bands. Thanks again for spreading the good word!
-Jeff B.
Thanks for the note, Jeff. I’ll be in contact. You are doing great work!
thanks for supporting this great greenville scene – one of the most authentic and vibrant I have come across. Little Rock, Austin, Somerville, B’klyn, Ave. A, Eau Claire, lex/KY… none quite like The Spazz!!!
Chucks n’ dogs, support this thing and give it a chance to evolve into the vibrant, exciting scene it can be…
